Bonnie's Treehouse

The story follows Bonnie Bear, a shy bear who spends most of their time in a treehouse, as they celebrate their birthday ("bearday") with friends Ann, Hoot, and Jan-Klaassen. The friends surprise Bonnie with a Toadbag, allowing them to play Frogtime.

During the celebration, a mysterious pink shell arrives as a gift. Before Bonnie can understand its significance, the local bully and self-proclaimed "king of the beach", Rik Spek, challenges Bonnie, defeats them in Frogtime, and claims the shell as his prize under beach rules. Determined to win it back, Bonnie trains by battling other beach residents, earning cocoduds to buy booster eggs, and collecting stronger frogs. Bonnie grows more confident, reconnects with friends, and plays music.

Hints emerge that the shell is more than just decorative. Ann discovers in her research that it may be tied to magic, parallel worlds, and a church-like group seeking an artifact. After defeating Rik’s posse (Plank and The Raven), Bonnie challenges Rik again and finally wins, reclaiming the shell and ending Rik's reign as king of the beach.

At the east side of the beach, Uncle claims the shell was stolen from him and begins taking interest in Bonnie. The story ends with Bonnie and friends realizing the shell's importance is far greater than they imagined.
