The game follows Bonnie Bear and friends through a weird, heartfelt, frog-filled adventure.
Chapter 1: The Beach
[edit | edit source]- Main article: The Beach
Bonnie celebrates their bearday in a treehouse with Ann, Hoot, and Jan-Klaassen, who gift them a Toadbag. Bonnie also receives a mysterious pink shell, which Rik Spek quickly wins in a beach match. Bonnie trains, collects frogs, and earns cocoduds for a comeback. Meanwhile, Ann uncovers clues that connect the shell to magic, parallel worlds, and a group hunting a powerful artifact. After defeating Rik's allies Plank and The Raven, Bonnie wins the rematch, reclaims the shell, and takes the beach crown.
Chapter 2: The Disappearance of Ann
[edit | edit source]- Main article: The Disappearance of Ann
Believing the shell contains a hidden world, Ann convinces the group to drill into it. It goes very wrong, and Ann gets pulled inside. Bonnie, Hoot, and Jan-Klaassen seek help from Old Man Bitter, who explains that the shell links their world to Saint Frog's realm and that Ann is likely trapped there. To open a passage and rescue him, Bonnie must collect four magic shells. After a Frogtime win over Old Man Bitter, he agrees to help, and the group heads to Piek Mountain, where another shell is rumored to be kept by a local church.
Chapter 3: Piek Mountain
[edit | edit source]- Main article: Piek Mountain
At Piek Mountain, Bonnie learns that Uncle's church is searching for the same shells. Church members Botte and Vleer report that one shell may be hidden inside a beehive, while Uncle departs to consult the Oracle in Towerville. To reach it, Bonnie helps the scientist Laryssa build a shrinkray using rare materials, including alien technology and Wortel and Peen's pumpkin cake. Bonnie shrinks down, enters the hive, and retrieves the shell. Along the way, cracks appear in the church's story about Pigfoot, and Uncle's motives start looking worse by the minute.
Chapter 4: Return to Zeedorp
[edit | edit source]- Main article: Return to Zeedorp
Following the beehive events, tensions with Botte escalate fast. After defeating him in Frogtime, Bonnie rescues Old Man Bitter and uncovers evidence that Uncle manipulated the church by fabricating parts of Pigfoot's history. Botte defects and joins Bonnie's group, revealing that Uncle plans to use the shells for destructive purposes. With Piek Mountain stabilized, the group returns to Zeedorp to regroup and prepare for the chase.
Chapter 5: The Oracle of Towerville
[edit | edit source]- Main article: The Oracle of Towerville
Bonnie travels to Towerville to obtain the third shell from the Oracle. There, it is revealed that the Oracle and Uncle are brothers with a long shared history tied to the shells. After defeating the Oracle's star players, Bonnie learns more about Uncle's influence and meets Pigfoot, who reveals he was framed and imprisoned, not heroically defeated as the church claimed. With support from allies, including Rik and former church members, Bonnie prepares for the final confrontation and the last shell.
Chapter 6: Frogworld
[edit | edit source]- Main article: Frogworld
After regrouping, Bonnie and friends secure the final shell and gain access to Frogworld. Ann is alive, and has been sheltered by Saint Frog. Ann reveals that Uncle intends to confront Saint Frog directly. The group pursues him through Dark Space, Lilypad River, and Tallboom Forest. Uncle tries to use the shells to reach and destroy Saint Frog, but Bonnie and allies stop him in a series of Frogtime battles. Uncle is ultimately defeated and taken away, ending the immediate threat.
Epilogue
[edit | edit source]- Main article: Epilogue
In the aftermath of Uncle's defeat, life begins settling across Zeedorp, Piek Mountain, and Towerville. Characters reflect on what happened, and old conflicts begin to cool down. Ann readjusts after his time in Saint Frog's realm, while rematches, side stories, and Battle Tower challenges continue. Things are calmer, but the world is still wide open for whatever comes next.
